About Daily Recess

Daily Recess is Brian and Kristi. We met working in restaurants years ago, and we both live in Marin. If you've been in, you've probably met us.

We use local organic dairy and get a lot of our produce from the farmers market. We like fun, creative flavors and keep things a little different, but we obsess over ingredients and technique. We make as much as we can ourselves, down to the waffle cones, extracts, jams, and preserves.

There are always ten flavors in the case, seven gelato and three dairy-free sorbetto, and they change every month. Find us in the Northgate Mall food court in San Rafael.
